Believe it or not Tudbinks came into existence in 1987 when Van and Beth planted their first crop of fresh market tomatoes that were “dirt” grown and washed in the basement of their home in Millersville. From this humble start the operation grew to become a full-time operation employing over 300 local youth in the next twenty years.
Tudbink’s became synonymous with tomatoes, but began to include seedless watermelons and almost unnoticed… flowers. Beth would plant her favorite flower seeds during tomato germination and no one realized that another seed was being planted, a whole new operation. Through many providential factors, the produce operation ended in 2005 and Tudbink’s focused all energy toward its retail flower operation which had started in 2001. Since that time Tudbink’s trails have led to amazing places from the urbanscaping of Lancaster City to doing moss implants in New York City. Come see why each year Tudbink’s customers depend on us for solutions to their toughest questions about growing and designing their personal plant world.
